Flux on Film
Flux on Film gives aspiring dancers access to the most current and valuable knowledge in today's film industry. There has never been a more relevant time for dancers to understand how to bring their art form to film. This workshop is intended to give pre professional and professional dancers the tools they need to navigate this landscape.
Dancers will be cast in pieces and participate in a full five day creative process. The last two days will consist of being filmed by an experienced production team. Professional videographers, state of the art equipment, and full scale lighting will come together to give dancers an authentic on-screen experience. They will learn how to explore camera angles and television techniques while gaining insight to apply to their future careers in the film industry.
Jaclyn Royal’s television experience includes 4 seasons of So You Think You Can Dance, 2 seasons of The Masked Singer, and 2 seasons of NBC’s World of Dance. She is honored to share her knowledge with the upcoming generation of dancers.
